Fire Mission (Minturno)

Argentina veterans divided over Falklands 'abuse' case Although I do not condone what Argentina did when they invaded the Falkland Islands, I do have sympathy with the Argentine soldiers who fought there. 27 years has taken away any bitterness I have had towards them, I obviously cant speak for the Falkland Islanders. What happened to these young men was criminal, but the way their superior officers mistreated them showed why they lost in the first place. We were also cold and wet but we were also extremely professional in the way we carried out our duties. I know many British Falklands veterans have suffered and the suicide have been well documented but imagine how much harder it would have been for us if we had lost? These men are no longer my enemy, infact I have something in common with them all. We were all soldiers and fought in War together. I would gladly sit down and have a drink with these veterans which is more than I can say for a Labour politician. Think how the Falkland Islanders would have been mistreated if the Conservative Government of the day hadn’t bothered to send a task force. I am proud to say I fought against Fascism and liberated British tax payers from what would have been their own prison camp in the South Atlantic.

British army vets work with Afghan farmers Captain Miles Malone is fast becoming known as the "Herriot of Helmand" for his work with Afghan farmers.
The 28-year-old, halfway through a seven-month deployment at the British forces hub of Camp Bastion, is spearheading a pioneering veterinary clinic.
Miles' main role in the Army is to provide preventative healthcare and emergency care to the dogs used to search out IEDs and guard camps where troops are based, but he's become the force behind a new project to improve local Afghans' standard of living. I wish Captain Miles Malone all the best for the future for this great work he is doing.

Student Who Urinated On War Memorial Spared Jail If I had to guess I would say Laing has a deep seated politically motivated hatred for our military, he knew full well where he was taking a piss. He is lucky he lives in such a tolerant society because of the sacrifice of the men who’s names he desecrated. Or perhaps he is just a typical British student?

Unmanned drones planned in immigrants crackdown Gordon Brown was said to be delighted by this new initiative, he liked the idea of drones helping tens of thousands of illegal immigrants find their way to the UK and thus getting Labour more votes.

Letter to Nato Secretary General The PMS said that the Prime Minister had written today to NATO Secretary General Rasmussen, following their meeting in London earlier this month. OMG the NATO Secretary General will think he has been given a letter from a infant school child with dyslexia.
