Two British Soldiers Killed In Afghanistan

Two UK soldiers killed in Helmand RIP

With proud thanksgiving, a mother for her children,
Britain mourns for her dead across the sea.
Flesh of her flesh they were, spirit of her spirit,
Fallen in the cause of the free.

TALIBAN TO BE GIVEN ASYLUM IN THE UK.

We're not winning, says U.S. general as he backs Brown's call for talks with the Taliban
A top U.S. general in Afghanistan has backed Gordon Brown's call for talks with the Taliban in a shift in war strategy.
U.S. commander of operations in Afghanistan Gen Stanley McChrystal met with Mr Brown during his surprise trip to Afghanistan over the weekend.
He has authored a reported claiming that if Western forces can give the Taliban jobs, 60 per cent of the problem will be removed.
And the general likened the Western efforts in Afghanistan to those of a bull charging a matador - ie the Taliban - weakened with every cut it receives.

Socialist Labour Party Treat Our Wounded Heroes Like Benefit Scroungers.

Wounded soldiers up to £3,000 worse off a year after secret benefits axe Badly wounded soldiers have had their disability benefits secretly slashed by as much as half by penny-pinching bosses at the Ministry of Defence. Troops whose working lives are cut short after injuries sustained while fighting will no longer be paid a special £57-a-week allowance.
The move came after the MoD quietly dropped the benefit for new claimants who are too disabled to work.
It means hundreds of troops who have been injured in Afghanistan and in future conflicts will be £3,000-a-year worse off.

If you also hate our Armed Forces and want to personally inflict more misery on our men and woman in uniform remember to Vote Labour!

Royal Marine Killed In Helmand RIP

With proud thanksgiving, a mother for her children,
Britain mourns for her dead across the sea.

MoD cuts rule out using 'live' ammo I understand there is a war on, but this just takes the biscuit. Using `live` ammo is an important part of your training and teaches you the correct drills and respect for you weapon and other soldiers saftey. If its about saving money once again why don’t MPs try drinking water at lunch time instead of bottles of Cristal Brut 1990. Next they will be asking our boys to use Blanks against the Taliban and try to scare them away!

A slice of Britain: The strange attraction of 'bang-bang, you're dead' I think the MOD having no idea whatsoever about fighting Wars had been to this event.

Frontline soldiers lack GCSE basics You don’t need to be Einstein to rip a mans throat out with your bayonet!

Ainsworth 'dismissive' of father of dead woman soldier found dead at Deepcut barracks Bob `Bollocks` Ainsworth is embarrassingly stupid and should not even be responsible for sharpening pencils at the Commons, putting this idiot in Charge of defence at time when we are at War shows what Gordon `The Red Robot` really thinks about our Forces. My condolences to Des James over the loss of his daughter, he knows what to do come the General Election.

Mystery of Acocks Green RAF man killed in France during WWII Don’t call Bob! RIP.

New missile fear for helicopter pilots in Afghanistan don’t bother telling Bob he doesn’t even know what a ELICOPTER is!!!

The Latest Armoured Vehicles For Afghanistan I think the best way to test them would be to put Ainsworth inside them and then drive them over huge IEDs.

A charity car wash in Chingford is raising money for Help for Heroes I like it pity the weather wasn’t hotter we may have got down to bra and knickers.

New Chief's Focus On Soldiers' Welfare Any soldiers that become traumatised will receive extra strong tea bags.

Ant & Dec say bring troops out Well these two have just gone to rock bottom in my opinion.

Signalling a way out of Afghan's hell
Gordon Brown is well versed in making deals with terrorists.

Did PM jet in to scupper Cameron's Afghanistan trip? No Cameron set of last year on his bike!

I SURVIVED TALIBAN BOMB TRAP Thank you for your service Captain Owers you are a true Hero.

'Horrible' sights of war nearly destroyed me I’m glad James Holborn is getting the help that he needs and deserves and wish him all the best. I often wonder what James and others now suffering from PTSD thought about Falklands veterans with PTSD? I know many ignorant servicemen who had not been involved in War poured scorn on the condition but now know the awful reality of this misunderstood condition.

Birmingham and Worcesters Soldiers tell of life on the front line in Afghanistan Your Country is very proud of you lads!

Private funeral ceremony for Afghanistan soldier RIP Private Kyle Adams.

Panther's Claw an 'enduring' success
We obviously only hear about our own soldiers deaths , it would be interesting to know how many enemy combatants were killed?

Surviving Dambuster rejects raid criticism But recently unearthed letters show that Air Chief Marshal Sir Arthur "Bomber" Harris, the wartime head of Bomber Command, thought the mission "achieved nothing compared with the effort and the loss". I wonder if they will be saying the same about Afghanistan in the years ahead?

'TROOPS NEED EXTRA HELICOPTERS' No S*** Sherlock, you have to give credit to the Daily Mirror, they really do have their fingers on the pulse!

Two thirds want British troops home from Afghanistan I’m not surprised at this, Wars are never popular, even during there Falklands War there was a small percentage, usually Socialists and trade Unions who were against us even retaking a British dependency invaded by a Fascist Junta!

HMS Somerset on public display See we do have the odd ship! One can only look on in awe at the US navy.

Navy Days 2009 - Meet Your Navy, Before Its Gone. Devonport Naval Base, Plymouth Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th September Navy Days is coming back to Plymouth! Over the weekend of Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th September Her Majesty’s Naval Base Devonport, the largest naval base in Western Europe, will open its doors for the first time in 3 years for what promises to be a spectacular family day out. Navy Days will showcase the present and future capabilities of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines, and allow the public to meet the men and women who serve on our ships and submarines.

New Army boss 'warned of shortages' General Sir David Richards will have to be careful what he says the Socialist mafia don’t take kindly to criticism.

‘All I actually did was sing’ I think the Red Robot is proposing a tax on singing?

Call for MPs to be notified of soldiers’ deaths An interesting idea which would be ok if MP s has any conscience’s ?

RL fans battle in the desert I’m watching this Cup Final this afternoon, I would like to see Warrington win.

We must not forget the real causes of the war Norman Davies has some very valid points here.

Army chief in Afghan campaign vow Lets hope for our soldiers sake that Sir David Richards is not a `YES` man putting the time in until his fat pension pay off?

S Africa to fire striking troops I would love to see our military march on Parliament and take control of the UK! Only in my dreams.

Safe working conditions I would imagine under this Socialist Government many schools in the UK are as dangerous as parts of Helmand!

Defence Secretary Bob Ainsworth visits Broughton’s Airbus factory Apparently Bob `Bollocks `Ainsworth thought they made buses and was amazed when he was told that they could fly!

Corporal’s loopy record hope Best of luck to Corporal Stewart Hefti , he may want to add a few extra spoons of sugar to make the tea slightly thicker?

Brown's leadership under attack What leadership don’t they mean Dictatorship?

Soldier's grieving mum defends mission RIP Christopher Whiteside.

Why are we bombing clinics? Perhaps we should have done an air drop of medical supplies to the Taliban as a sign of generosity and peace?

Hero's parents - back our brave boys Love your soldiers Hate your Government, RIP Fusilier Simon Annis.

New Rupert

A young 2nd Lieutenant had just arrived at Camp Bastion.

He'd been given a beautiful new office (Portacabin) and had it all to himself.

Sitting there, he saw a sergeant come towards the office door.

Wishing to appear the hot shot, the officer picked up the phone and started to pretend he was exchanging chit chat with the Base Commander.

He threw Colonel's and General's names around and talked about letting them stay in his Daddy's Estate in Hampshire, and then set up a head Sheds meeting between him, the Base Commander, and the CO's of the base security sections
Finally he hung up and asked the Sergeant, "Can I help you sergeant?"

The Sergeant replied, "Yes sir, I'm here to activate your phone lines."

Sir Richard Dannatt still a silly sausage Typical crass comment from a Lefty Tory hating Chip wrapper.

Jason's mum accepts medal in his honour PTE Williams’ mum and sister Jennifer became the first people in the region to receive the new Elizabeth Cross at yesterday’s funeral. RIP.
